How does Liposonix® work?

Liposonix is a revolutionary noninvasive body contouring treatment that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound to destroy fat cells underneath the skin. The ultrasound energy is very safe and only affects the undesireable fat cells. The destroyed fat cells are then eliminated through the body’s natural healing process over the next eight to 12 weeks.

Is there any downtime after a Liposonix® procedure?

Since Liposonix® is a non-invasive, non-surgical procedure, patients can typically resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. Invasive fat reduction procedures, such as traditional liposuction, carry certain surgical risks and are associated with significant post-treatment recovery downtime. The Liposonix® treatment allows you to immediately carry on with your regular life.
