The Treatment Process

Exilis® Ultra is a relatively quick, easy, and painless treatment. During a session—you’ll likely need three or four to see optimal results—you will lay down on a bed, and the handpiece, which delivers the energy, glides across the treatment area, which feels similar to a hot stone massage. A grounding pad will be placed on your back to ensure safe delivery of RF energy. The RF energy is emitted from the handpiece under the skin at about 42 to 44 degrees Celsius, which warms the skin to the point that it begins collagen production and reorganization. The handpiece also features a cooling tip so that if an area gets too hot, it is quickly cooled to make the treatment more comfortable.

In the weeks after the treatment, the skin will start to experience new collagen growth, improving skin texture, laxity, and wrinkles no matter where the treatment is performed on the face or body.
