Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers can be the key to instantly adding volume to the face while smoothing away the look of fine lines and deep wrinkles, taking years off your appearance. However, not all dermal fillers are ideal for addressing every area of the face or every age-related concern, which is why so many formulas exist. The real key to achieving natural-looking results is treating fillers as an art form — adding volume in the right areas and filling in lines, wrinkles, and folds where they are most prominent.
Serenity Aesthetics & Wellness is one of the nation’s highest-volume filler injection centers. Our experienced expert injectors, many of whom hold trainer status, pride themselves on precise filler selection and placement, ensuring the most natural look possible. You’ll always look like yourself — just refreshed and enhanced.

What
Are Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are injectable products used to diminish the appearance of age-related volume loss, fine lines, wrinkles, and folds on the face, neck, and body. Most dermal fillers are composed of synthetic hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that attracts and retains moisture to restore soft, natural-looking volume where it’s needed.
Dermal fillers are considered minimally invasive treatments for achieving a more youthful appearance. Because they’re injected into targeted layers of the skin rather than deeper structures, fillers provide noticeable, long-lasting improvement without surgery or extended downtime. When placed precisely by skilled injectors, dermal fillers can restore facial balance, smooth wrinkles, enhance contours, and rejuvenate the overall appearance.

Full Face Makeovers
If you’re looking for a full face makeover but don’t want to opt for surgery, an instant facelift may be right for you. Our expert injectors specialize in non-surgical facelifts, which utilize hyaluronic acid fillers to provide full facial rejuvenation without the risks or downtime associated with traditional facelifts.
The most popular hyaluronic acid dermal fillers include Restylane® and JUVÉDERM®, specifically JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC and JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS XC. These shorter-acting dermal fillers have different consistencies, properties, and thicknesses, making each appropriate for specific areas of use. For example, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC can enhance the cheeks, whereas Restylane® is a firmer, more flexible filler that works well on areas like the lips. Unlike biostimulators, hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are fully reversible with a few quick injections of hyaluronidase, which dissolves hyaluronic acid if you are unhappy with the results.
Our team of expert injectors will help you decide the right fillers. Choosing the appropriate filler depends on the degree of volume loss and aging, your skin thickness, how soon you want results, how long you want them to last, and whether you want the option to reverse them.
What Are the Benefits of Dermal Fillers?

One of the advantages of dermal fillers is that the results are visible immediately, aside from some mild initial swelling. For the best and longest-lasting outcome, some patients may benefit from multiple sessions or periodic maintenance treatments.
Common FAQs
How Much Do Dermal Fillers Cost?
The cost of a dermal filler varies from person to person and depends on the number of vials injected, the injectable product used, and the treatment areas. Therefore, we recommend a consultation for a detailed estimate to determine your treatment's cost.
Who Are Dermal Fillers Good For?
Both men and women who wish to address various age-related concerns are candidates for dermal fillers.
Dermal fillers work best for addressing more moderate facial lines, wrinkles, and folds, as well as volume loss, particularly in the cheeks, temples, and under-eye areas. They can also enhance the shape and size of the lips, define the cheekbones further, and create a strong jawline and chin.
Are dermal fillers safe?
Hyaluronic acid fillers, like Restylane® and JUVÉDERM®, are very safe since hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring sugar molecule in your body. If there are any issues with these fillers, we can safely inject an enzyme called hyaluronidase into the treated area to dissolve it instantaneously. Side effects are very rare.
Will I swell with dermal fillers?
Treatment with any dermal filler can cause mild swelling, which usually subsides in a few days. Swelling may last longer with thicker products, like Juvederm Voluma, or if more than one syringe is used. Swelling is usually more noticeable under the eyes and around the mouth.
To minimize swelling, ice the area for 24 to 48 hours following the procedure. You can also apply arnica ointment, or take oral arnica tablets to help reduce bruising and swelling.
How long will the results last?
The longevity of your results depends on the type of filler used, the treatment area, and individual factors like metabolism and skin thickness. Generally, dermal fillers can provide results that last from six to 18 months, whereas biostimulators can last one to two years or longer.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
It's important to avoid blood thinners of all kinds for at least a week before your appointment to minimize bruising. You'll also want to keep your body well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding alcohol before your appointment. Make sure you tell your injector about all current medical conditions, allergies, and medications you are taking to prevent any complications.
